OFFENCES AGAINST THE PERSON
Offences against the person fall into a broad category of offences including (but not limited to):
Common assault;
Assault occasioning bodily harm;
Grievous Bodily Harm;
An Act or Omission Likely to Endanger Life, Health or Safety;
Unlawful Wounding
Threats to kill and threats to harm;
Deprivation of Liberty;
Kidnapping;
Stalking;
Obstructing Police; and
The majority of these offences are almost always of a serious nature and, if found guilty of such offending, may be likely to result in the imposition of an immediate term of imprisonment.
